MARCA BIANCA

Regulations MARCA BIANCA – LA EPICA 2025

The final stage of the CT Cicloturismo Prestige calendar dedicated to gravel: get ready to finish in style (or at least survive with flair)!

Welcome to the grand finale! “Marca Bianca – La Epica” is the last chance to show off your gravel style, revive the humor that has accompanied you so far, and most importantly, earn the promised roast. This non-race is an invitation to slow down (yes, you read that right), enjoy the hills, the rest stops, and the laughter.
⚠️Rule no. 1: take fun seriously.
⚠️ Rule no. 2: no whining. You’ve made it this far, you can do it!

Marca Bianca La Epica is not a race. No, there are no record-breaking challenges, no stopwatch glaring at you with fiery eyes. The start is free, “French-style” (don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert in baguettes and cheese), and each participant can pedal at their own pace. I mean, if you want to go as slow as a turtle on vacation, welcome! If you feel more like a Giro d’Italia cyclist, go for it!

There are no times to beat, and rest assured, no one will send you a message saying, “You arrived too late, try again next year.” Marca Bianca is a complete escape from the usual routine: a day where the only thing you should worry about is the passing of time, but only to enjoy the scenery and chat with others.

And no, there won’t be a boring roadbook that forces you to read maps like an explorer. The route will unfold pedal by pedal, like a surprise you discover little by little, only with your GPS, cycle computer, or smartphone. No stress! Arrows will point you to the main turns (so, if you get lost, it’s not our fault). And if you reach a truly dangerous intersection, don’t worry: you’ll have the support of staff who will guide you… perhaps with a smile and a “Yes, it’s right here!”

In short, leave the race against time at home, and come have fun like a tourist who got lost in the right place.

You can participate with any bicycle, as long as it’s rideable and has a distinctive personality. Gravel, MTB, e-bike, or road bikes with decent tires. If your bike isn’t gravel but you have the right attitude, you’re still welcome!

Three options, for every energy level:

    1. LONG K115: For those who still have the grit. 114 km, 1,730 m elevation gain.
    2. MEDIUM K85: The “I’ll try but not overdo it” option. 85 km, 1,150 m elevation gain.
    3. SHORT K55: If you’re already thinking about lunch. 56 km, 470 m elevation gain.
Choose your route when you register and get ready to follow it with a GPS track and some arrows here and there. If you get lost… it’s a bonus adventure!

Start “French-style” (that is, “when you’re ready, but not too late”):
K115: from 8:00 to 8:15
K85: from 8:45 to 9:00
K55: from 9:30 to 9:45

🚨 Note: We close everything at 16:30. If you arrive after, the roast might already be gone.

Who can participate?

MARCA BIANCA – LA EPICA is open to all adults (yes, you need to be at least 18 years old), regardless of gender or the type of bike you ride.

K115 and K85 routes:
To join the group of brave souls for the longer routes, you need to be registered with a Federation or sports promotion body recognized by CONI.
Not registered? No problem! Just present a valid medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity (D.M. of 18/02/82 and/or D.M. of 24/04/13). This will also guarantee you daily insurance coverage.

K55 route:
This is for the more relaxed ones (or the smart ones who want to enjoy more of the rest stops). Only a consent form is needed, and you’re ready to ride with daily insurance coverage included.
Notice to participants:
The Organization reserves the right to decide whom to accept. If we think your participation might turn the event into something more like a rodeo than a cycling rally, we may kindly ask you to stay home.
In short: if you have the desire, the bike, the helmet, and a bit of humor, you’re welcome!

Basic Package: race number, rest stops, prize at the finish line, roast & beer party, showers.

The race packs and technical bags are ready for you. Here’s when and where you can pick them up without any hassle:

Saturday, October 18, 2025: from 15:00 to 18:00, at the hospitality area behind the Municipality. Perfect for those who want to pick everything up in advance, maybe after a good coffee.
Sunday, October 19, 2025: from 07:00 to 09:30, at the same location, ready to wake up at dawn with the pack in hand (or just a little later if you prefer to have breakfast first).

And if you really don’t want to pick up the pack in person, don’t panic: you can delegate a friend or trusted person to get it for you!

Unexpected events?

It happens to everyone, but don’t worry! If for some reason you can’t participate, you can make a replacement by Wednesday, October 15, 2025 (plenty of time, relax). Just email us at dolomitiming@gmail.com and add €5 to cover the administrative costs.

Unfortunately, if you decide to abandon the event without a replacement, we can’t refund you, and your race pack will remain in its splendid solitude.

We’ve got you covered! Medical assistance points with expert staff are ready to intervene if something goes wrong. However, the most important thing is: ride smart!

We’re all about self-sufficiency, and we believe you’re a cyclist who isn’t afraid of a flat tire! There won’t be mechanical assistance, but if you have your repair kit and are ready for anything, you’ll be our hero.

Need help?

We’re here for you! Write to us at info@marcabianca.bike, and we’ll solve your doubts. Or almost, we’re human too!

If the world collapses (or something truly unexpected happens), we may need to postpone or cancel the event. But alas, registration will not be refunded or transferred to the next edition. We really hope this doesn’t happen!

Yes, we’re flexible, but not too much. We reserve the right to make some changes to the regulations, the route, or whatever we want (as long as it makes you have fun). You’ll find all the information on our official website, which is the ultimate point of reference!

Okay, listen up.
Your race number must be clearly visible on the handlebars. Don’t change it, don’t alter it, don’t try to be clever. And don’t forget your helmet (rigid and approved, not the random one you buy on Amazon). Also, respect the traffic laws, because safety always comes first. And please, don’t litter along the route. Our territories are beautiful, help us keep them that way!

Participation is at your own risk and peril; we can’t perform miracles!
By registering, you agree to waive any claim against us or anyone else involved in the organization. We like to live serenely, and we hope you do too!

We can’t guarantee beautiful photos (unless you’re a model for another event). If you receive photos from unauthorized photographers, don’t ask us!

Lost something along the way? Don’t despair! Bring the found item to the race secretary, and we’ll get it back to you. We’re not magicians, but we put our heart into it.

Yes, rain might make an appearance, but the race will go on, regardless of the weather! If we have to change anything, you’ll find all the information in the right places: on the website, at the race office, and on the information board. Don’t worry!

By registering, you confirm that you have a valid license and have read these regulations (otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to register). You also give us permission to use your data because, as they say, “without you, we can’t do anything!”

We take privacy very seriously: your data will only be used to manage your registration and, at most, to send you some interesting communications. If you want to delete or update your data, just write to ACD Pedali di Marca, and we’ll handle it professionally.
